Green Alliances: Cultivating US and Chinese Climate Leadership
Overview
Since launching the US-China Agriculture Roundtable in 2020, the US Heartland China Association has found agriculture is a fertile area of bilateral dialogues. The US-China Agriculture Roundtable has grown to be the most broad-based bilateral dialogue platform around agriculture, drawing leaders spanning government, trade, business, education, and think tanks from both countries.
The Wilson Center speakers at this webinar will be joining the summer 2024 Think Tank Dialogue in Beijing as part of the 4th Agricultural roundtable. Drawing on the China Environment Forum’s Cool Agriculture project, Dr. Jennifer Turner and Dr. Karen Mancl discuss possible paths forward for climate and food collaboration between the United States and China.
This event was hosted by the US Heartland China Association and is co-sponsored by the Wilson Center's China Environment Forum.
